The pay for bartenders will vary depending on what
area you are in.  What is important to realize is that
you will get a base wage plus tips.  The tips is the
part of your wage you can control. Most jobs, you
need to get paid and a raise directly from your boss.  
For bartenders, much of their wage comes directly
from the customer in the form of tips. So depending
on how you treat your customers, they will pay you
